JetLite was formerly known as Air Sahara. It is an airline based out of Mumbai, India and at present is owned by Jet Airways. The airline operates scheduled services that connect metropolitan centres in India. It is operating 110 flights every day. The airline offers helicopters that are available for charter services as well as aerial photography.
Jetlite has reestablished itself as a value carrier that provides attractive low fares. It is not offering complimentary food on board and provides it purchasing separately. Jet Airways has been withdrawn from its many routes and replaced it with Jetlite operations that compete with complete service carriers which operate on those sectors.
Jetlite was founded in the year 1991 and its major hub is Delhi. Apart from it, the other secondary hubs include Kolkata and Mumbai. The focus cities of Jetlite are Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad. It has fleet size of 22 operational and 9 orders. It covers overall 30 destinations. The slogan of the company is “Emotionally Yours”.
Kingfisher Red
Kingfisher Red is formerly known as Simplifly Deccan and before that it was known as Air Decca. It is basically a low-cost airline that is run by Kingfisher Airlines. The headquarters of Kingfisher Red is situated in Mumbai, India. Its parent company Kingfisher Airlines is running the King Club loyalty program that allows the passengers to earn frequent flyer miles (called King Miles) for tickets which are booked on Kingfisher Red. It offers in-flight reading material in form of Cine Blitz magazine that is printed solely for Kingfisher Red.
Kingfisher Red is founded on 25 August 2003 as Air Deccan. It has fleet size of 21 and its destinations are same as its parent company Kingfisher Airlines. The slogan of the company is “The Choice is Simple”. Its phenomenal growth led to the entry of over half a dozen low-cost air carriers in India.
